SIMPLICITY™ is a web based, wireless or hard wired technology, to record and retrieve patient medical records within seconds, anytime, anywhere as long as Internet Service exists. To begin, the staff creates a daily patient queue in chronological order, which is identical to your “day sheet”. When your patient arrives, your staff assigns an examining room to the queue and is instantly uploaded to the physician’s tablet identifying the patient’s location, exactly like when you were using paper charts and the “day sheet”.
As the physician enters the room, click on the patient’s chart and the previous progress note or encounter note or previous H&P, appears instantly. Confirm the patient’s identity by checking the date of birth and clarify their current medications along with their allergies to medications if any exist. Also, if you like, with a simple click you can read and edit the Review of Systems. Pending tests ordered by you or your partners are visible and if the test result is available, you can access it immediately. You can record the patient history or present illness by writing on the tablet with a stylus pen, which is stored every 60 seconds. Similarly, you record the physical findings in the same manner. For those physicians who prefer typing, a keyboard is available in addition to Voice recognition and Hand Writing recognition. A unique digital progress note is available in a drop down template.
